The short version

Bindery collects nothing about you and never sees your files. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking pixels, and no cookies set by this site itself. PDF processing happens entirely in your browser's memory — your documents are never transmitted to us or anyone else.

Your files

Files you open in Bindery are read by your browser and processed locally using the open-source pdf-lib library. They are not uploaded, stored, or shared. Closing the tab discards everything.

Information we collect

None. Bindery is a static website with no backend. We do not operate a server that receives your files or inputs, and we do not store personal data.

Cookies

Bindery itself does not set cookies. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Hosting and technical logs

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like most hosting providers, Cloudflare may process basic technical data (such as IP addresses and request logs) to deliver the site and protect against abuse. That processing is governed by Cloudflare's own privacy policy.

Children's privacy

Bindery is a general utility not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
